Annual Report 2023: Being a forerunner in climate action is the right path

Mistra Carbon Exit’s Annual report for 2023 presents some examples from our research in 2023, including the work of our five PhD students. We have also asked some of our senior researchers and industrial partners to reflect on the program.

The year 2023 has been a year to remember for both good and bad reasons. We have read about extreme temperatures and witnessed fires, floods and droughts – all indicated effects of climate change.

But there has been political progress, at least at the EU level, writes Lars Zetterberg and Filip Johnsson in the introduction.
